Reflexology is an ancient, natural, non-invasive therapy that is based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the hands and feet, which correspond to all glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulation of these reflexes by applying gentle massage and specific pressure point techniques helps create a relaxed, healthy and harmonious state of being. Reflexology improves blood and nerve supply, removing congestion and blockages, restoring balance, improving energy and relieving stress and tension.

Lymphatic Massage

A massage type technique used on the feet to stimulate the movement of excess body fluids from the intercellular spaces into the lymphatic and circulatory veins.  This is especially beneficial where there is accumulation of fluid in the body, high blood pressure, blocked sinuses and glands.

Endocrine Balancing

The endocrine glands through the release of hormones balance and regulate the entire body. Stress and change in the body causes corresponding imbalances in hormone levels. Each of the eight glands, some in pairs, has a reflex on the foot and these are gently stimulated and bought into a healthy equilibrium.  An example of conditions helped are diabetes, autoimmune illnesses, pregnancy, menopause and thyroid gland disturbances.

Foot Joint Mobilisation

Foot joint mobilisation is a realigning of the bones in the feet enabling the body to have an opportunity to heal itself structurally. It is a technique that can be used for all ages and for many structural body problems. Some conditions it corrects are back pain, sciatica, arthritis, hip pain, flat feet, bunions, spurs, burning and sore feet.
